About SSC CHSL Exam

Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Examination for recruitment of CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.

to India, before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar),
Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
